Your Goal With Pepper Spray!
Everyone wants to know what they should do with their pepper spray.
Yes it's obvious that you should use it if your being attacked but what do you do in all other situations? Let me explain.
If your being attacked you spray the attacker right? Well after that should you run away, beat your attacker up, beat your attacker up and call the police, or just stand there and watch them cower in pain? Believe it or not these things have happened to people after spraying someone with pepper spray.
Once their spray has commenced, they freeze and sit stand there undecided.
This is what I would like to call a big No No.
So what should I do you ask? Well my suggestion and personal opinion is to run.
You sprayed them with pepper spray for a reason.
You want them out of your comfort zone and you will do whatever you need to do in order for that to happen.
You want to stay out of harm's way and the only way to do that is to take yourself out of it.
So then, what exactly is my goal with pepper spray? Your goal is to defend yourself in order to minimize and or remove all danger.
If you want to stay and fight, then that's ok.
Would I recommend it, No.
You want to stay out of danger not put yourself back in it.
After you spray someone run your little heart off.
Get the heck out of there and seek help.
If a burglar came into your house would you knock him out and then wait for him to get back up in order to do it again? I hope not even though I know some of you might.
The reason you wouldn't is because not only is the robber very upset now, he/she knows what you're capable of and can counter attack.
See where I'm going here? You want to make yourself very scarce once you have the upper hand in an altercation.
You never know what kind of drugs or influence they might be under.
Once again, if you spray someone run and find help, don't stay around for tea.
