As cold weather approaches, it may be time to consider their approach to skin care for winter continues. Dry air and cold air can have a significant impact on the health of your skin, and I want to do everything possible to protect your skin from the elements of the harsh winter. Give serious consideration to the following information, and proactive about the health of your skin.

Even if you bundle in winter clothes, you should consider using sunscreen classes. For everyday use, it may be a bit extreme to cover yourself in sunscreen in the winter. Instead, try using a moisturizer or makeup with SPF 15. If you are on the slopes, you should use a sunscreen with an SPF as high as you want to use in the summer. Snow on the hills reflects an incredible amount of sunlight. Do not forget to use a lip balm as well.

Try to avoid taking a hot bath during winter. We all know how wonderful a hot shower can feel on a cold day, but try to resist the urge as best as I can. Hot showers can strip the skin of natural moisture. Instead of a short, warm shower. Try it on your skin dry and apply moisturizer when skin is slightly damp. It is a good strategy to help prevent dry skin.

One thing to consider is your home heating system. As the oven is being used constantly in winter, the air in your home can become very dry. If you do not have a humidifier built into your heating system, you should invest in a portable humidifier. Using a humidifier to prevent your skin from drying out, and can help you avoid dry nasal cavities. If you suffer from nasal dryness or bleeding in the winter, apply some petroleum jelly for short-term relief.

In my opinion, the best way to cope with dry skin to moisturize from the inside out. Drink plenty of water as you can, no matter the time of year. Drinking the recommended amount of eight glasses of water a day, plenty of removing toxins from your body and help keep your skin healthy and fresh. By following these tips, you can have beautiful skin all year round.
