Players can rack up huge multipliers by hitting bumpers, playing mini-games and keeping the ball going. Multi-ball lets several balls fly, complicating the game but giving players even more chance to score. Players can create their own account to keep track of their high scores or play as a guest. There are four different characters to play. Once a character is selected, players wait for other online players to join the game. Each player has a different instrument and they must play the music in the beat. A small bar scrolls on the bottom of the screen, and players must hit the button when the notes fall underneath the beat bar. This keeps the music flowing smoothly. Hitting the beat too soon or too late will make the beat falter, ruining your score. Missing the beat too often will end your game. Players must work together as a team, just like a real band.
