TuTu Cute
Miss p is 6 months old! Seriously?! Where the heck did the time go? I was just bring her home from the hospital on a rainy Tuesday and now she is sitting and "talking" and is a little person?! She is growing up WAY too fast!
Okay I've calmed down now.... Well I had to mark this huge occasion with something special. So I thought the best way would be with pictures. And I didn't think that the pictures would be complete without an adorable tutu wearing Miss p :) I've seen other kids wearing tutu's in pictures and I've always thought they looked so cute! I had it in my mind I was going to make one. Then my mom found a $6.00 tutu at Joann Fabric Store. It was adorable. (Please see the pictures on the "Miss P's Pics" page labeled 6 months :) )
I would have used the same photographer we used for Miss p's newborn pictures (which were amazing!) but it was hard to find the time and the right weather. The photographer (Mandy Johnston ) who is wonderful and a very talented photographer doesn't live in the area anymore. And since we live in Michigan and the weather changes so quickly we decided to take the pictures on Sunday because it was actually decent out.
My mom still had these country fair size pumpkins she grew in her garden, outside to decorate for fall. That was our back drop. We sat Miss p in a couple different posses. She was such a trooper. And it was so much fun! My mom was behind me with 3 different toys rattling, squeaking, and playing the music on the one. Anything to get Miss p's attention. I reminded me of about 10 years ago at my senior photo sitting where my mom did the same moves behind the photographer. But instead of trying to get a baby to look she was trying to get my horse Babe to look. :)
We got some great photo's to mark Miss p's 6 month birthday! Even though everything is happening so quickly, I wouldn't change it for the world!
