General Eligibility

• FTD will accept the membership applications from any florist in the world that agrees to follow the program requirements. To begin the process, florists fill out an information form online, after which an FTD representative will contact them to gather information about the florists' businesses. Once membership is established, florists are eligible to add their business to the FTD website. A separate online application is necessary to enroll in this part of the program.
  
  

Satisfaction Guarantee

• An integral part of continued participation in the FTD program is upholding the company's satisfaction guarantee. Known as the "Good As Gold" 7 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, the policy promises buyers that FTD products purchased from a member florist will remain fresh and thriving for at least seven days. If FTD flowers or plants fail to meet customer expectations, the company expects the selling FTD member florist to fully refund the customer's money or replace the items purchased.
  
  

Delivery Policy

• Participation in the FTD program also requires florists to follow delivery schedules determined by the FTD Group. Florists must choose a cutoff time for online and phone orders of 11 a.m., 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. After establishing this cutoff time, florists must guarantee same-day delivery every day of the year, including on major holidays. Orders received after the cutoff time must arrive to recipients the following day. FTD does allow florists to modify cutoff times on three major holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
  
  

Pricing and Products

• For FTD brand arrangements and products, member florists must charge an amount determined by the FTD Group. They must also create arrangements as specified by the company. Substitutions for flowers are permitted when necessary, but florists must follow specific guidelines when selecting new flowers. The group distributes guides to florists on a regular basis, and businesses must ensure they work from the most current guide available at all times.
