Diabetic recipes that are simple to prepare will take several items into consideration, especially those that people suffering from diabetes need to heed closely.
Type 2 diabetics have an insulin deficiency or resistance issue that creates a health problem which they can recover from if they know how.
Unfortunately, we live in a flatland society that has banned such notions as "good faith" or "honesty" in favor of "ego" and personal wealth if we measure the standard by the way the food industry treats its customers.
Naturally, the people I am pointing the finger to will be baffled by my outburst and immediately take refuge behind the sacred principle of freedom, responsibility of self and liberty.
But does this also need to deliberately and expressly involve calculated moves designed to mislead customers into buying food that might kill them? I wonder...
I had to learn the hard way, as a 20 year recovering diabetic, that "sugar free" or "light" written on the label of the food item I am wanting to buy does not mean that the food is safe for me to eat, because it contains OTHER forms of sugar that are even worse from a diabetic's point of view.
So I decided to research the subject more deeply and I found nothing but horror.
Our healthy eggs, those we could eat safely 35 to 40 years ago have all but disappeared.
They used to contain plenty omega3 oils in them before, but the modern food industry has changed that.
I managed to beat my type 2 diabetes by changing my eating habits and deciding to love my health more than the food I wish to eat.
I learned the hard way that I was a lazy buyer, not bothering to check up on the things I bought because I had grown complacent.
Also, I had learned to trust the foods stacked on the shelves and this ultimately caused my diabetic condition.
So, I set out to teach myself the art of making fast easy to make meals that I can eat as a diabetic.
I even published the videos I made on how to make them on YouTube so everyone can go see them for free.
In essence, diabetic recipes are very easy to prepare and most are delicious.
They keep me filled until the next meal, keep my glycemic index in check and they make me lose weight at the same time.
What more can I wish for?
