Allegro 2007: A Great Experience in the Sky
There are many kinds of light sport aircrafts that are already in the market. When it comes to popularity though, the Allegro 2007 should ring a bell. The Allegro is originally a Czech-made plane and is considered to be one of the reasons why the Czech Technical University has made a name in European aviation. The later models of the Allegro, however, are already manufactured in the United States. The company that makes this LSA is Fantasy Air. After observing how the first few models performed, the said company made improvements and these could now be seen in the Allegro's more recent versions.
The original Allegro used to have very little room left for both the pilot and the passenger. This is because the cabin has a small elbow room only. However, the improvements done include the extension of the fuselage and this resulted into a bigger space for the flyers. Even the height of the cabin has been adjusted by making it a little higher. The result, of course, is that the wings are also raised a bit. Even the doors to the cabin have been changed to provide it a more appealing appearance with some practical considerations also to make the cabin look even bigger.
One of the more appreciated improvements that could be found in the Allegro 2007 though is its bigger fuel capacity. Originally the plane's tank could only carry 55 liters. After some improvements were made, the plane could now carry as much as 63 liters. However, there are also tanks that may be installed on the wings and each of these could carry 20 liters. If these are used, this LSA could carry abot 100 liters of aviation fuel. The greater amount of fuel it could carry could only mean one positive thing; the current version could cover longer distances.
As a LSA or light sport aircraft, the Allegro 2007 is very easy to maneuver while in the sky. This is the reason why people who would like to feel the thrill of being hundreds of feet above the ground may find this the perfect ride. Because it is very light, this aircraft is also very easy to manipulate for take offs. It does not require a very long stretch of flat land to serve as a runway for takeoff and landing. Another good thing about this is that learning how to fly the plane is very easy. This can be attributed to the simpler instrumentation or avionics that has been installed. Because of the said features, the plane has indeed increased its popularity all the more. It has endeared itself to flying enthusiasts not just in Europe where it originated but also in North America.
