It can be challenging to find family friendly videos for kids to watch online. Websites such as YouTube have content that isn't really appropriate for children. These websites have videos ranging from silly to educational, but they're all kid friendly options.

1. National Geographic Kids

This fantastic collection of videos is so diverse that you can go from learning about pygmy seahorses to exploring the Indian railroad to exploring outer space. You'll find video on the tallest house of cards (according to the Guinness Book of World Records), a movie premiere and event a trip to France with cartoon pigs Toot and Puddle. 2. PBS Kids

PBS Kids is a wonderful website for preschoolers and early elementary school kids. This collection of videos, which changes each week, highlights some of the best moments from PBS Kids programming. 3. Kideos

Kideos is a collection of videos for kids that is nicely broken out into appropriate age brackets and categories. The content will probably be familiar to your family as it includes clips from Sesame Street, Disney movies, Baby Einstein and more. 4. PBS Kids Sprout

PBS Kids Sprout is a television network for kids from 2-5 with a focus on having parents and kids learn together. The collection of videos is organized by show and topic and includes favorites Bob the Builder, Caillou, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper, Berenstain Bears and Thomas the Tank Engine. Some of the videos are preceded by an ad (primarily for other Sprout programming), but there is also a wonderful collection of parenting videos (crafts, educational tips, etc.) in the "Sprout for Parents" section.More »

5. ZuiTube

ZuiTube, as the name suggests, is powered by YouTube. The video for kids site is an offshoot of their popular web browser for kids, KidZui, and the videos are approved by parents and educators. The organization/navigation is best suited for older kids (late elementary and middle school) and includes categories for some favorite teen/tween personalities. 6. Nickelodeon Kids

If your kids are excited by Spongebob Squarepants, iCarly and the Fairly Odd Parents, this is the site for your family. There is a nice collection of clips and full episodes. Expect some advertisements from other Nick shows, games and properties. For younger kids, Disney.com has clips from classic and new movies as well as trailers for upcoming animated films. KidMango has plenty of videos that you won't see on the other sites, so it's a nice option if you're looking for something a little bit different.
