Restaurants in Palmyra, New Jersey
- Palmyra has been home to Villari's Bistro, Bar and Grill since 1948. Paul Villari, a native of Sicily, and his wife, Natalie, established the restaurant, which has been known by a variety of names over the years: the Milmarian, The Mill and just plan Villari's. Recently renovated by the Food Network program "Restaurant: Impossible," Villari's offers three different menus: a casual bar sampling, the more upscale bistro menu and an entire menu just for pizza. Complete menus are available on their website. A children's menu is available in the bistro.
- Broad Street Pub combines fun nightlife with a full dining menu. It's an Irish pub complete with karaoke and entertainment on weekends, the best of Philadelphia sports, darts and pool tables. The pub is easy to access, located directly across the street from the Palmyra Lightrail stop. The menu offers hearty Irish food and plenty of good old American standbys.
- Owned and operated by Francis Hannon, who was once the tour chef for the Rolling Stones, the West Broad Street Luncheonette is open for breakfast and lunch. Don't let the name fool you into thinking that this is some kind of greasy spoon. The Luncheonette offers an extensive selection of three-egg omelets as well as some heavier fare for breakfast, including the Palmyra Slammer--two pancakes, two eggs and bacon--and the corned beef hash, served with two eggs and toast. The lunch menu is equally as diverse, famous for its crab cake Po Boy served with Hannon's secret sauce.
- If you're in the mood for something lighter mid-day, Barista's is a coffee house owned and operated by Rachel Ciampaglia and Janine Miller since February, 2009. It offers the usual noshes but is best known for its organic coffee, brewed by special request. The beans are grown and processed with minimal effect on the environment. Barista also offers exotic coffees.
