The biting behavior of your dog when they are young cannot be harmful but you should give a proper care towards them.
This kind of biting, nipping and especially mouthing habits are normal in the puppies.
It is important to stop puppy biting, as they can be seriously injuring to other when they reach adulthood.
Some of these points can be helpful to train your dog against biting and nipping habits.
1.
The training must be given at the early stage.
If possible, it is best to train your puppy when they are 6 weeks old.
Teach them that the biting can hurt you.
You can give a shrill NO or OUCH whenever they start to bite you.
It will teach them that their bite can hurt someone else and they have been rough.
This helps to stop puppy biting and be gentle next time 2.
If your puppy is mouthing you, do not jerk it away, instead you can replace any toy which they can bite but giving no damages.

You can repeat the same NO or OUCH whenever they try to bite you and also you can leave the room for a while.
Let them acknowledge that they are being rough and loses their playmates.
This reflects the reaction from other dog also when they are rough.

Persistence and positive reinforcement should be provided to your puppies.
Let them know that their bites are painful and not liked by humans by giving them sharp signal of NO or OUCH.
You can also reinforce them with good behavior.
Whenever they lick you without biting and play nicely, praise them plenty.
5.
Once they have stopped biting, begin to teach them OFF command.
You can hold handful of dog food, close your hand and say OFF.
This teach them about not to touch.
Even after a few while, if they have not touched you, then give them a piece of food saying TAKE IT.
6.
You can socialize your puppy with other dogs when they are about 6 month old.
Socialization will somehow help to stop puppy biting you and others.
Since they will have a rough play with the other dogs, the interaction will help reinforcing what you have taught them.
Plus they will also know the limits given by the people and dogs as the dogs will allow for rougher play.
