Morning Sickness Relief - Safe Ways To Relieve Your Vomiting And Nausea While Pregnant

103 6
For most women, the morning sickness they deal with during their pregnancy does not just occur in the morning - it happens all day long.
First thing in the morning is just when it is the absolute worst.
The little bit of time that you aren't hovering over the toilet is probably spent trying to figure out what you can eat that will stay down.
Trust me as I have been through this and know exactly how that feels.
Some women get lucky and only have this sickness one or two months while others have it a lot longer.
Morning sickness relief is definitely what they are looking for.
One thing that you should do to help ease the symptoms is to try and maintain a stable blood sugar level.
Thus, eating consistently throughout the day is a great idea.
This includes having a snack before bedtime and upon getting up in the morning.
It is not a good idea to eat fast as your body needs time to absorb the food, so chew slowly and your nausea should not be near as bad.
Protein and whole grain foods are a lot less likely to upset your stomach and will help with morning sickness relief.
Another good thing to try is to drink smoothies that contain fruit and a small amount of yogurt or you can drink water with lemons added.
Tea that is decaffeinated is also a good choice and you can flavor it to your liking.
The point is that no matter how you get your liquids, try to drink as much as possible to avoid becoming dehydrated.
I found that having my drinks between the times that I ate was the best way to alleviate the nausea.
Consuming food and drinks at the same time will not give you the morning sickness relief you want.
Staying away from odors that now bother you as a result of being pregnant is something else that you can do to help with the nausea and vomiting.
Just a small sniff of coffee was enough to send me directly to the bathroom when I was pregnant.
You will find that some odors that never bothered you before will make you quite sick while you are pregnant.
Getting someone else to do the cooking and leaving the windows open should really help you at this time.
Putting a few drops of a scent that appeals to you on a tissue and inhaling it will also contribute to morning sickness relief.
Do your best to stay focused on the precious little one that is inside of you while you are dealing with this sickness.
Yes, the nausea and vomiting will go away and you will be holding your baby before you know it.
Some distractions that will take your mind off it are shopping for baby clothes, reading baby books and getting the baby's nursery ready.
A baby is truly a blessing.
