Minnesota has 38 public radio stations throughout the state with a total of 28 translators that offer supplemental coverage to local communities. Most of the communities have a news station and a classical music channel, and there are four areas that have the Current, which offers listeners new music in a variety of genres. News stations cover local, state and national headlines, and host a variety programs such as talk radio, call-in shows and game shows. - KNTN 102.7 News and KQMN 91.5 Classical are FM stations serving the Moorhead area, including Thief River Falls, Red Lake Falls, Crookston, Ada, Drayton, Grand Forks and Reynolds. These two stations are located on the Concordia College campus. KNTN provides listeners with current news and events, and they also have talk radio programming. The classical music channel offers listeners both current and classical musical programming. The music channel was founded in November 1990, followed by the news station in December of 1991. News programming includes Minnesota Today, Weekend Edition and All Things Considered.

218-299-3666 - KNSR 88.9 News and KSJR 90.1 Classical are two stations that serve the following Minnesota communities: Alexandria, Benson, Long Prairie, Willmar, Litchfield, Buffalo, Elk River, St. Cloud, Collegeville and Little Falls. The classical music channel was established in January 1967 and the news channel was founded in August 1988. Weekly programming on KSJR includes Music Through the Night with Scott Blakenship and Performance Today with Fred Child. Weekly programming on KNSR includes Minnesota Today, Talk of the Nation, and Morning Edition. Both are FM stations.

This station serves the following communities: Pine City, Elk River, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Bloomington, Lakeville, Northfield, Faribault, Red Wing, St. Paul, Anoka, Stillwater, Hudsone and Menomonie. Programming includes American Routes with Nick Spitzer, The Current Presents, and Musicheads with Bill DeVille. Programming genres include rhythm and blues; rock and roll; Zydeco; Tejano; jazz; local bands; indie rock and alternative music. The station also features music talk radio.
