Cost of Cruises
- The base cost may be as low as $209 per passenger for six nights to Mexico. If you choose a more exotic location or a luxury ship, the base cost can be $4,000 or more.
- The base cost of your cruise will not include port fees, which are taxes and other costs levied by the government at your destination(s).
- Consider the cost of traveling to the port from which you will depart. Some cruise lines offer special charter flights that may be cheaper than commercial carriers.
- The type of cabin you select greatly influences price. The cheapest cruise price quotes usually are for an inside cabin with no view or balcony.
- An all-inclusive cruise may cost more up front, but if you choose a basic cruise, you could end up spending more when you take into account such things as drinks, Internet service, laundry, spa treatments, upgraded restaurants and tips. Do not forget the cost of shore excursions and meals when you disembark.
