Killer Male Grooming Tips For the 2010 Man

103 4
Come on guys, the days of the stubble, the unkempt bed-head look and the chiseled, craggy skin are long gone.
Today, women expect us to look as good as they do and are not satisfied unless we are clean, smell great and are dressed to kill.
Now that we have entered 2010, it is time to clean up your image and get sharp, with these killer grooming tips.
1.
Drink!
No..
not booze.
Our bodies are mostly made up from water and the condition of your skin is a good indication of how much, or the lack of water you have in your system.
Doctors and scientists have told us for years that drinking 6 litres of water a day is good for you - and it is true! Don't forget that tea, coffee and juices also count towards this amount, so don't go hogging the water cooler all day.
Take it slow and steady and just start to introduce a little more water in your day and your skin will start to look clearer, your eyes will regain their shine and you will feel great.
2.
Moisturise!
It is no longer considered a girly thing to put some creams on your face at night.
Your facial area and your hands are probably the place where you will need to concentrate on.
Visit your local store and pick up some "hunky male moisturiser" and slap some on before you go to bed each night.
If you find yourself in contact with water a lot (i'm thinking washing up here) then make sure that you put on some hand cream too.
Soaps and chemicals can strip the natural oils from your skin, so give them a helping hand with some good creams.
3.
N.
E.
M.
That's Nose, Ears and Moles to you.
Make sure they are hair free and looking cute.
You can get lots of electric trimmers to take care of unsightly protruding growths, so treat yourself to one.
Don't think that a quick trim with the kitchen scissors will be "good enough" as it will most likely end up in a trip to A&E! 4.
Keep trim.
It is no longer just something that you see on actors in "those films" you have tucked away on your computer.
Keeping your nether regions hair free or trimmed is very popular now, with 30% of men admitting that they keep the bush in control with a little maintenance.
There are varying ways this can be done, from shaving to waxing and a few routes in between.
Just make sure you use a fresh razor and do it in the bath or shower if you want to keep that undercarriage looking and feeling in tip top condition.
5.
Lose the beard!
I know some ladies like a rough cheek up against theirs, but there is no excuse for not keeping your stubble under control.
Make sure you prepare the area first, using a good shaving brush and cream and shave down the grain, not against it.
It might also help to shave in the shower if you can as the hot water will help soften the hairs and make things easier for you.
I often start with an electric shaver and then move to a manual version for the final finish.
