    • 1). Log on to the Infopass section of the USCIS website at http://infopass.uscis.gov. Pick your language of choice out of 12 selections. You will then be prompted to either make or cancel an Infopass appointment.

    • 2). Type in your home zip code. Select the service you need when asked to do so. To make an appointment, you will need to select "You need service for a case that has already been filed." Hit the "continue" button. From the next four options presented, select the one that best suits your needs.

    • 3). Enter your personal details -- full name and address, date of birth, etc. You'll need your Alien Number (A-Number) if you have one. This is printed on any personal correspondence sent from USCIS. If the appointment is in response to any notices you have received, or in question of your case, enter the receipt number where prompted. This number is typed at the top of the paperwork that corresponds to the case.

    • 4). Select an appointment which suits your schedule. If nothing is available, check back at a later time, since there may be a cancellation or an added appointment. Print out the appointment confirmation and remember to take it to your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may do so without bias using the online Infopass tool.
