    Two Years

    • The two-year statute of limitations applies to a range of different action, according to Kansas Statutes Annotated section 60-513. Any action for trespass on real property, taking or injury to personal property, fraud, wrongful death, injury to the rights of another, rendering or failure to render professional services by a healthcare provider that doesn't arise out of contract, and recovery for ionizing radiation injury must be brought within a two-year period.

    Disability

When the person's legal disability is eventually removed, the person has one year from the date of removal to file the claim. However, no claim can be filed if more than eight years since the cause of action has passed.
