Food

• Purchase shortcake cups and make strawberry shortcake complete with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Fill tart shells with strawberry jam, and make a pink strawberry-flavored birthday cake frosted with sweet pink icing. You can buy Strawberry Shortcake cake decorations at a party store, or pipe small strawberries all over the cake with icing. Drinks could be strawberry smoothies or lemonade.
  
  

Games

• Help Strawberry Shortcake pick up the strawberries with this game. Scatter or hide strawberry candies all over the party space, and give each guest a basket to pick them up with. Everyone can keep the strawberry candies as favors. Blow up red balloons and put prizes in some of them before blowing them up, such as sticker sheets or fake jewelry. Let kids "stomp" the berries to pop the balloons and get the prizes out. Do a Pin the Stem on the Strawberry game where you can hang a big picture of a strawberry with no stem. Make stems out of construction paper and let blindfolded kids stick them on with double-stick tape to see who can get the closest to the top of the strawberry.
  
  

Crafts

• Print out Strawberry Shortcake coloring pictures and provide markers, crayons and glitter for the girls to decorate their own Strawberry Shortcake works of art. Help the kids make strawberries out of their thumbprints by dipping their thumbs in washable red stamp ink and stamping them onto construction paper. Use green markers to create leaves and stems for the strawberries. Kids can also make necklaces using green, pink and red beads and plastic or cotton jewelry cord.
