How to Care for Push Reel Lawn Mower
- 1). Keep your lawn free of rocks and other debris to prevent damage to the blades of your push reel lawn mower. Check the lawn for debris before mowing.
- 2). Wipe off the blades of your push reel lawn mower with a damp cloth every three to five uses. Dry the blades with a second cloth, if necessary.
- 3). Rub the blades, cutting reel axle shaft and wheels of your push reel mower with lubricating oil every three to five uses. Increase or decrease the frequency of lubrication, as needed.
- 4). Check the reel mower's nuts, bolts and screws periodically as the movements of the reel mower can cause them to loosen slightly over time. Keep the nuts, bolts and screws tightened to ensure mower safety and performance.
- 5). Inspect your push reel lawn mower periodically for worn or damaged components. Replace any problem components before using the mower.
