Growing Old Getting You Down? How To Have Fun No Matter How Old You Are!

103 4
Although none of us can stay young forever, there is absolutely no reason why we should let getting old get us down.
Even if you don't feel as lively as you use to is no excuse to let getting old get in your way of loving life and those around you.
You need to help yourself keep a good attitude about everything and don't let the little stuff bother you.
The less you let bother you the less likelihood that the stress is going to overcome you and take away all the joy in life.
First things first, forget the darn numbers! It doesn't matter if you're 20, 40 or even over a 100, it's just a numbers game.
You can and should do your best to carry your age with happiness and with dignity.
Let people know that you don't care what they think of their age and that you simply are not afraid to admit that you are growing old and that you are proud of the experience that all of your years have brought to your life! You know the old saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away".
OK maybe it doesn't really but it is considered one of the "super foods" you should have in your diet to stay healthy.
So eat lots of different fruits and veggies.
And by the way, don't let yourself feel guilty if you feel like treating yourself to some ice cream or a piece of cheesecake every once and a while.
Remember you only live once to enjoy it while you can.
Just don't overdo it.
Do your best to be around happy people who are positive and upbeat.
You sure don't need to be surrounded by crabby, negative and angry people.
All they're going to do is make you feel incredibly bad about everything around you! It's tough enough dealing with the changes of aging to have to put up with all that negative energy.
Make sure to keep learning.
Learn as much as you can.
Read a new book, take a class in something that you've been wanting to learn how to do, learn a new language, find things that are going to keep your brain stimulated which in turn will keep your spirits lifted.
Make life simpler, get rid of things you no longer need, clear out the clutter.
Find ways to relieve stress that are fun and exciting.
When a problem pops up learn how to look at the problem in a different way and always remain calm under all stressful situations.
Stop thinking that every problem is the end of the world for you.
Just think of problems as bumps in the road.
Make sure that you fill your life with all the things that make you happy and that you love.
Keep in touch with your closest friends as well as your family members.
Make sure you have a pet in your life that can serve as your companion and confidant.
Listen to your favorite music, do hobbies that are fun and keep you busy, do the things you are absolutely passionate for.
The most important thing is learn to accept who you are and who you are becoming and never let anyone else get in the way of you feeling good about who the person you really are.
