    • Ford was established over a century ago when Henry Ford founded the company in 1903. Since then, the company continued to deliver quality vehicles. Throughout the 20th century and into the 21st, Ford has continued their successful production of automobiles. One of the most successful models produced by Fords has been the F-Series trucks. Over the last 25 years, the F series has been the bestselling truck in the U.S., and the 2003 Ford F-150 is one of the reasons why.

    Models

    • The 2003 Ford F-150 has several models and trims to suit almost any preference. It offers the Regular Cab and the SuperCab that come in Styleside and Flareside versions. The Supercrew model introduced in 2001 also comes with the 2003 model. On the Regular Cab and Supercab models, you can choose between XL, XLT and Lariat trims. XLT and Lariat is also offered on the Supercrew model. A short and long wheel base is optional on both cab models, while a single wheelbase is available on the Supercrew.

    Interior

    • The 2003 F-150 series is complete with all the necessary features a driver needs. Air conditioning, power windows and locks, and lights and hooks in the cargo area are regular features on all models. The Supercrew model has a bed extender to increase box length and an optional rear-seat entertainment package. The Regular Cab is a two-door, two-to-three-passenger vehicle, while the Supercab and Supercrew have four doors that can accommodate five to six people.

    Performance

    • The performance of the 2003 F-150 series can tailor fit any type of driver or workload. The Regular Cab and Supercab comes with the standard 4.2L V6 engine. The Supercrew is equipped with a 4.6L Triton V8 engine. An option to upgrade standard cabs to a 4.6L V8 engine is also available. A 5.4L SOHC Triton V8 engine is available as an upgrade on all models. Manual and automatic transmission is an option on all versions, and the towing capacity of each model can be enhanced depending on the owner's need and preferences.

    Safety and Security

    • Airbags in the driver and right front seat are standard, and a side impact can be minimized by the side door intrusion beams. A child safety seat anchor is also available, as well as the "BeltMinder" system that reminds passengers to use seatbelts. The "SecuriLock" system also comes with all models.
