Tape

• 1). Cut pieces of double-sided fabric tape as wide as the ribbon you're attaching to the package.
  
  
• 2). Place pieces of tape at points on the ribbon that will be attached to the package.
  
  
• 3). Pull off backing of the tape.
  
  
• 4). Position ribbon where you want it and press down to secure it.
  
  

Without Tape

• 1). Wrap the ribbon around the package like you would a nonfabric ribbon. You can only do this with a piece of fabric ribbon long enough for you to turn it into a Christmas bow.
  
  
• 2). Tie the ribbon into a bow shape on top of the package and secure it by pulling it tightly.
  
  
• 3). Fluff the ribbon to make it more presentable.
