I begin this story of a lad with a quote of a famous Urdu couplet; and it goes like this:

"YAAD -E- MAAZI AZAAB HAI YA RUB"

CHHEEN LAY MUJ SE HAAFEZA MERA"

(Memories of the Past are a Trauma oh! Lord; Seize from me my Memory)

The subtle nuances between trauma and pleasure are beautifully highlighted in the above couplet. It is, indeed, the beginning of a story of a teenage lad who was vivacious, energetic and full of charm. The journey commences with a lively childhood. He grew in an affluent environment with peace and serenity. The love and affection of neighbours and relations has a deep and profound impact on his personality. It left memorable imprints on his mind. He started crafting and cultivating situations, which are conducive to his mind heavily influenced by his memories of child hood. He transformed his sweet memorable images from innocent childhood thoughts into teenage vibrant feelings. The life took a serious turn when he crossed half way through his childhood prior to entering teenage. The demise of his father at this tender age was a trauma leaving him financially and affectionately very weak. He felt very lonely thinking where his solitude will take him. The trickling strength of childhood friends and visible distance of neighbour's intimacy was conspicuous by the absence of frequent invitations and contacts. The journey progressed at a snail's speed until he reached teenage and crossed into adulthood. His flamboyant style and extrovert nature helped him to establish new contacts and relationship.

At this crucial moment, he felt the transformation was something unusual and interesting. He has the gift of a gap which is very impressive and effective. He realized that knowingly or unknowingly people are getting attracted towards his personality. The turning point in his life was the instinct and deep rooted attraction to a girl of his age. She was simple, beautiful, charming and very kind hearted. The sincere love and innocent approach between them have established such a bond that leaves everlasting fresh memories between them. However, his poor monetary status and orphan image has become a hurdle in every aspect of his life. Consequently, the situation took a dramatic turn when she was forced to marry a person other than his true and sincere love. The tragedy left him yet lonely and depressed. It equally made her depressed and heartbroken. He decided to fight it out his lost love in a different way. Although He grew and achieved success progressively climbing dizzy height of success and secured respectable and lucrative jobs, yet he couldn't forget her love.

While he was feeling lonely yet an interesting event has happened .He met another girl who has remarkable resemblance to his first love both in nature and attitude. The regular meetings were inching forward finally converted into marriage. His life becomes successful both professionally and on the domestic front. Although the events did shape favourably for him yet his first love's life progressed on a melancholy note and continued on a path of misery and trauma.

After decades of the gap, they met and childhood memories flashed back with lightening speed. However, the attachment, love and affection of his wife play a dominant strong role thereby keeping healthy relationship intact. His wife and his first love met for the first time, and it was love at first site between them. The sincerity and kindhearted nature of his wife did shape well, transforming his children's future to new dizzy heights of success and fame. The home environment remained a focal point of peace and happiness. She does receive to abandon love, respect and affection from friends and others. The nostalgic feeling does reverberate in one's life .However, life must move on in a determined and balanced fashion achieving satisfaction and happiness. As Albert Einstein says,"Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted."
