In this article I'll go over some techniques you can easily plug into your busy schedule to help get you to your ideal weight in no time.

Eat five or six small meals throughout the day.
As a society, we've become accustomed to eating three large meals a day.
Eating smaller meals at shorter intervals (usually every 2 to 3 hours) helps to prevent hunger and also tends to speed up the metabolism.

Try to eat at the same time everyday
.
Eating on a set schedule is great for healthy meal planning, it also trains your body to expect food at those times everyday, making it much easier for your body to easily digest your food and burn off any excess calories you might ingest.
Eating on a schedule is also a very good way to avoid getting to hungry and making a mad dash for the vending machine or fast food drive through lane.

Use smaller dinner plates.
Dinner is generally where we do the most damage when it comes to trying to eat right.
Instead of grabbing the huge serving plates that we all own, go for the medium sized plate.
When filling your plate, try to divide it into four parts.
¼ meat, ¼ carbs, and 2/4 vegetables.
No seconds! Try not to eat again after dinner, if you absolutely have to eat something, grab a piece of fruit and a glass of water.

Protein shakes are awesome!
Stay away from the meal replacement shakes that you see in the grocery store, these tend to be full of sugar and other unwanted calories.

Add your favorite fruits to the powder, mix in a blender, and you've got a very tasty, satisfying, and healthy meal that you can take with you on the go.

Get up and get moving.
A lot of people get overwhelmed when thinking about exercise.
Relax, you don't have to spend all of your free time exercising to achieve your ideal weight.
Start taking walks at lunch time, take the stairs instead of the elevator, or just get up and move around for 10 minutes out of every hour throughout the day.
This is enough to get your heart pumping and you should have no problem finding time to fit these steps into your day.
