Cabins are also Wi-Fi for those travelers who like to stay plugged in. Each cabins has its own fire ring (wood supplied), grill and picnic table. You can bring your own food or take advantage of Kemosabe's grocery deliver service to purchase breakfast, dinner and baked goods. Explore with your pet the local area including 17 waterfalls, beautiful fall foliage and the Bruno's Run hiking trail. Guests may also snowmobile, ride ATVs and fish. Powell Shores Lodge

• In Northern Michigan's Munising, the Powell Shores Lodge offers guests a furnished two-bedroom cabin with the amenities of home, including the opportunity to bring a furry friend. The Lodge provides a fireplace, full kitchen and supplies, sleeper couch, library, washer/dryer, pay phone, deck and grill, fire ring, dock (fish for local perch, crappie and bass) and firewood. Note that there are no RV hookups or Internet access. For dining, head to local casual Sydney's and Shark Bay Bar, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night drinks. The lodge is located in the Hiawatha National Forest, providing a great opportunity to hike and explore with your pet. The Country Chalets

• Enjoy an Amish setting at The Country Chalets in Mio. Two cottages each provide three bedrooms. Bring your pet and let him run free on the property's 38 acres including a two-acre private pond. Both cottages supply a full kitchen, fireplace, deck and dining area. Kitchen supplies include toaster, microwave, serving and cooking utensils and mixer. Outside the cabin is a fire pit, grill, picnic table and chairs. Experience the pond's tranquility with your own 12-foot aluminum boat or exercise on the trampoline and swing. Note that the cabins do not have televisions, phones or Internet access. Cabins provide fun in any season--enjoy swimming at each cabin's private beach, fishing (catfish, bluegill and bass are popular to the area), canoeing and turkey hunting in the summer, or in the snowy season, try cross-country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing.
