Hackers Are Motivated and Organized in Asia

One interesting thing about Spy Craft is that whenever a nation is caught spying, they always deny it, and thus, it's hard to get the public too upset to do anything about it, because the citizenry is less-likely to believe anything is really going on.
I suppose the world of cyber cold wars are the same, in fact, more and more, I've become sure of it.
Okay so, let's talk about this for a moment.
The US, our corporations, and a good many citizens suspect that the Chinese Government and/or military, or factions within have an organized hacking and cyber command which is using their computer strength and the Internet to gain access to information.
It's all but been proved, and yet, I've seen plenty of papers from academia in denial stating; "we do not have empirical evidence to prove it.
" Well, it appears all that has just recently changed and the cat is now out of the bag.
Question is; what do we do about it now, or is it really too late? After all, we lost an amazing amount of intellectual property, military secrets, and we've shown the hackers that they are able to get into just about anything they wish too.
There was an interesting article in Homeland Security Online titled; "China syndromeTwelve Chinese hacker groups responsible for attacks on U.
S.
" posted on December 16, 2011, which stated: "U.
S.
cybersecurity experts say as few as twelve different Chinese hacker collectives, working at the behest of the government, are responsible for the majority of cyberattacks on U.
S.
businesses and government agencies; the bulk of the attacks are stealthy in nature and have resulted in the loss of billions of dollars' worth of intellectual property and state secrets from the private and public sector.
" What does this tell me? It tells me these hackers are sophisticated, they have a plan, they are well financed, and there is government support, if not an outright government sponsored, sanctioned, and strategic mission here.
This is rather unfortunate considering the US and China are favored trading partners, and supposed to be on the same team - well, that's the official line anyway, but apparently we are at war, albeit Cyber War, aka Cold Cyber War with our friends and trading partners on the other side of the planet.
Again, the question now is; what to do about it.
Whatever we do, it needs to stop if China wants access to our markets and economic monetary flows.
Otherwise, it makes no sense to continue to pretend to be friends and get stabbed in the back on a daily basis.
Please consider all this and think on it.
