    • 1). Wipe up as much of the stain as possible with a clean, damp rag. If the stain is from a liquid, soak it up with a dry rag.

    • 2). Pour enough hydrogen peroxide onto the stain to completely cover it. Soak a clean rag with peroxide, and lay it over the stain. Use multiple rags if you are working with a large stain.

    • 3). Lay plastic wrap over the rag. This will prevent the rag from drying out overnight. If the stain is particularly large, place a garbage bag or plastic sheeting over the rags. Tape down the edges to prevent the bag or sheet from moving.

    • 4). Remove the plastic and rags the following morning. Fill a bucket with warm water and a floor cleaning detergent that is compatible with your flooring. Clean up the stain and peroxide with the solution and a clean sponge or soft cloth. Dry the floor as much as possible with towels, then allow it to air-dry the rest of the way. Repeat the process if the stain persists.
