Zac Efron recently gave Vanessa Hudgens, his "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" sweetheart (on- and off-screen), a Louis Vuitton vintage steamer trunk worth $50,000. Apparently, Vanessa loves Louis Vuitton but she won't buy it herself. A source mentioned that, "Vanessa loves Louis Vuitton, but she wouldn't spend the money for it." The source added that for Vanessa, the gift was more than an expensive piece of furniture for her newly-bought house worth $2.75 million because, "To her, it's a piece of art."
Recently, the Disney couple was seen shopping for even more furniture in West Hollywood. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens visited furniture store Design Within Reach to find more pieces for her new house. The property has been described as, "This is a spectacular old-world Tuscan, architectural manor with Moroccan influences and city light views. It has amazing custom stacked stone, saline Pebble-Tech pool/spa, waterfalls, cabana, BBQ island, hardwood and stone floors, the ultimate gourmet kitchen, Thermador appliances, windows, copper sinks, Arte de Mexico wrought iron and a wine cellar with glass doors."
The couple seems to be going strong ever since they hooked up in the first "High School Musical" installment. However, that doesn't mean that Zac has been taken off the market. Zac's boyish good looks and charm has captivated quite a few celebrity female fans, notably Transformer's Megan Fox and Gossip Girl's Michelle Trachtenberg, who have expressed their admiration of him publicly. Megan said she believes that Zac is her soul mate, and even told the press that, "Zac Efron is my obsession.. We're the same person. We're not actually here, it's like Janet and Michael Jackson. He just puts on his wig and a dress, and it's me, and you don't know that. It's one of the greatest mysteries of all time." On the other hand, Michelle Trachtenberg has mentioned that she wants to wear a shirt with the words "Zac Efron's My Daddy" for the premiere of her upcoming movie "17 Again" but added, "I don't think his girlfriend would like it much!" Still, Zac doesn't mind sharing the limelight, and said he supports fellow male teen heartthrob, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson. Zac told the press that, "I'm stoked for him." He added, "I'm gonna be there. I'll be watching ‘Twilight' in theaters – probably opening night."
