Warning Signs That Your Kids Are Being Bullied at School

Kids today have been on the news all because of bullying.
There have been suicides all over the country with the thought that they have been bullied all their lives all because of either their homosexuality or bullies are just taking advantage of their low self esteem.
As a parent, you should be very active with what is happening with your child's activity at school and see how you can oversee them.
The following are warning signs that your son or daughter might be bullied at school.
Try to check your son's belongings if still has his iPod or laptop.
If it suddenly goes missing, try to ask him where he put it or did he lend it to someone.
Also try to spot if there are any minor injuries inflicted in his body especially in the arms or the legs.
When you teen begins to skip classes and begins to get low grades at school, begin by asking him what has happened and if he needs help.
You should begin to worry if you spot your teen all alone by himself without any friend at school and that he usually withdraw to any social event even inside the house.
Once you get these warning signs, try to open up a conversation with your teen without pressing upon him that he has done wrong.
Instead, assure your teen that you will not be angry or ground him for what he has done.
Try to assure him that you will be behind him all the way if he promises to talk.
For you to be able to manage your bullied teen and help him cope up with these issues, begin by visiting his school and ask if the teachers have noticed his sudden change of attitude towards others.
Try to see if the teachers have done other methods in controlling the bullies or have they even noticed that your child have been bullied.
You can also ask your teen who is the person at school whom he can turn to when he is bullied and if he is a teacher or not.
Try to ask the teacher what methods has he done to prevent bullies from bullying your teen.
You can also try to gather other parents whose teen have also been bullied at school.
This is one great way of telling the school administration that this has got to stop and that it is hurting their teen.
It will make your son feel that he is not in this alone and that someone else also have the same situation as they have.
