Data Security, Not File Security

Keeping your information safe and secure is a never ending job these days, since technology is constantly changing.
Whether it be new operating systems, patches for the holes in existing operating systems or programs, or hackers who find exploitable items within a program or operating system.
Every time you access the internet you are putting yourself at risk through the internet searches that you perform, the websites you visit, the emails you read and write, the files that you download; all of these items can be used by someone spying on your activity, to create a profile on you.
This profile can reveal a lot about a person such as their internet surfing habits, their traits, their contacts, and sometimes allowing the cyber spy to get enough information to even steal your identity.
No matter what firewall you use, what antivirus software you have installed, what anti-spyware you run, you are probably one of the millions of people on this planet who are surfing the internet without any type of data security protection.
Data security protection on the internet is a must.
If you are talking to someone who is computer savvy, and you mention Data Encryption, 9 chances out of 10 they will be focusing on file encryption, because that is what the industry has cross referenced the term Data Encryption with.
What I am talking about is a means of encrypting every piece of information sent from and received by the computer you are using.
This provides you with true data security.
I have found just a handful of applications that claim to provide you this level of Data Security, all but one of them, didn't live up to their claims.
The one that did is called Covert Surfer.
Cover Surfer allows you to surf the internet anonymously and securely by encrypting the data that leaves your computer through the program, and decrypting it when data is received.
It is truly the Global Internet Security Tool which keeps your data safe and cyber spies away from your personal information.
With cyber crime on the increase and the downturn of the global economy, why would anyone want to put themselves at risk?
