    • 1). Protect trim and baseboards by covering them with blue painter's tape.

    • 2). Protect the underlying flooring by covering it with heavy-duty fabric drop cloths.

    • 3). Apply a coat of drywall sealer to the walls using the roller. Apply drywall sealer to the corners using a 3- to 4-inch latex paintbrush. Allow the sealer to dry for three full hours.

    • 4). Wash all painting tools using water.

    • 5). Apply a coat of satin latex paint to the sealed drywall using the roller. Apply satin latex paint to drywall corners using a 3- to 4-inch latex paintbrush.
