How to Turn On the Nikon Coolpix 4300
- 1). Insert the rechargeable Nikon EN-EL1 battery into a charger. This battery is not shipped with a full charge. If the battery is missing or does not charge, purchase a 2CR5 lithium battery to use instead.
- 2). Insert the fresh, fully charged battery into the battery compartment on the bottom of the Coolpix 4300 and close the battery compartment door.
- 3). Locate the power switch on the top left of the camera body, surrounding the shutter release. Turn this switch until it is in the "On" position. This will turn on your Nikon Coolpix 4300.
