You are probably spending enough time training to gain muscle.
You would think that a lot of guys trying to put on muscle and get a six pack don't train enough.
Actually, a lot of them train too much! Yeah, it's a weird notion, but it's true.
They just train too much, and they don't give their bodies much of a break in between sessions.
They work out too many days in the week, and they workout for too long on those days.
You might not be training the right way.
So what is the right way to train? Well, you may need to work harder, not longer.
Rather than working at 60%, you might need to get closer to 80% or 90% (carefully and safely) because that will work your muscles harder and then your body will try to add on new muscle.
How to train smarter.
Work harder and train for half as long, and get lots of rest.
Does that sound like a good trade off to you? Trade the extra time for a little more effort so that you will send the message to your body that you need new muscle, that way you start putting on consistent muscle.
You need rest so that your body can do this-put on muscle.
Don't think you can't do it, just try to get a plan that works for you so that you will be able to have plenty of rest.
Don't think that naps are lame, they're very helpful and lots of bodybuilders take power naps during the day.
