Menopause Defeated - A Light Hearted Look at Menopause

Some days it is impossible to raise a smile, but take a look at this and perhaps you may be able to raise a titter MENOPAUSE WOES Where once I had a waistline I go straight up and down Once my skin was wrinkle free But now I wear a frown My belt is out two notches My rings will fit no more My neck comes out in blotches I daren`t walk out the door My mood was bright and sunny I always wore a smile Now I act all funny And friends they run a mile I tell them I can`t help it I know I`m being strange And when I have a little fit They stay well out of range My husband`s been complaining He`s not getting his share But I find it too draining And really, I don't care My fuse is shorter lately It surely can`t be me And when I laugh, I wet myself Well, just a little pee.
Just last week my hair fell out And I feel so depressed "It`s all gone wrong" I scream and shout And then I won't get dressed I scowl at strangers who pass by My head`s all in a spin For no good reason, I may cry Oh what a state I`m in But it`s ok, I`m still quite well And I sure know the cause Some days are great and some are hell Welcome to menopause
