How to Hold Up My Train on My Wedding Dress
- 1). Cut a 12-inch piece of ribbon and set it aside.
- 2). Measure six inches from the hem of the dress along the center back seam and mark with chalk.
- 3). Rip a three-quarter-inch hole in the top layer of the dress as well as the underlining at the six-inch mark.
- 4). Fold the ribbon in half lengthwise. Measure a half inch from the ends of the ribbon and stitch the two loose ends together, forming a loop.
- 5). Thread the ribbon loop through the hole you created in the underlining. Pin the seam back together and restitch, securing the ribbon in the dress seam. Repeat for all subsequent layers.
