Introduction to CPA Offers

Cost Per Action, or CPA, offers are an incredible Internet phenomenon for affiliate marketers.
CPA offers can enable the affiliate marketer either to advertise efficiently or to earn money for hosting advertisements from other affiliates or companies.
CPA offers simply involve those advertisements that get placed on websites that contain content which is relevant to the words or topics used in the creation of the ads.
These ads are created for free, and the advertiser only pays any costs for them when an Internet surfer takes some action.
This is called "clicking through".
Depending on the structure of the deal, the action which generates a commission to be paid out could be visiting the linked-to website, actually making a purchase, and so on.
The commissions paid out by the advertisers are not at all large, but of course if they are getting a ton of traffic then those expenses will really add up.
However - the beauty of CPA offers is that these advertising costs can only add up if there is a lot of action being generated by the ads, which usually means big business for that advertiser! In traditional marketing and advertising, it is said that all business owners know that 50% of their advertising budget is totally wasted...
but the problem is, they don't know which 50% and so they can't cut their costs.
The costs of traditional advertising are through the roof, too, making that approach a double whammy.
To top it all off, people avoid traditional advertising most of the time, whenever they can.
CPA offers allow advertisers to know exactly which ads are working and which are not.
There is little if any wasted money because the ads that aren't working won't get much action and therefore cost very, very little - since, again, without any action there is no cost to the advertiser at all.
CPA offers also enable highly targeted advertising--no more need for that broad-brush approach that is so wasteful of money and so uncertain.
Highly targeted advertisements mean much greater interest on the part of those who read or view them.
They are already looking up content that is relevant to the products being advertised.
It's not like a toothpaste commercial coming on the middle of "Lost".
It's much more like a car commercial coming on in the middle of a show about those cars.
Except, it's even better, because CPA offers involve advertising that doesn't have to be read or viewed unless the Internet surfer chooses to check it out.
And if you own websites, blogs, etc, then you can allow CPA ads to appear on your sites and you get part of those commission dollars.
There are self-employed people who make buckets of money not by selling anything but by producing top quality content that gets readers and allowing affiliates to place their CPA advertisements on their sites.
It's that simple.
