€ Maithon Dam: It is made over BarakarRiver to control flood & produce 60000 KW of electricity. Maithon dam offers boating and fishing facilities to visitors. This dam houses an underground power station which is first of its kind in Southeast Asia. € Chati Gobindpur: it is a village that is famous for its two old pillars. According to locals, these pillars are associated with Emperor Ashoka and the Afghan chief Sher Shah.
