Housewarming Word Game

• Print the word, "Housewarming," on several sheets of paper. Give each guest a sheet of paper and a pencil. The players must write down as many words as they can using only the letters from the word, "Housewarming." The player who writes down the most words in two minutes wins the game.
  
  

Pin the House on the Map

• Play a game of "Pin the house on the map," using a large map. If you live in the United States, print a large map of the United States and hang it on the wall. If you do not live in the United States, use a large map of your country. Draw or print several small houses and write each party guest's name on a house. Place double-sided tape on the back of each house. Blindfold each player and spin her four times. Tell her to pin the house on the map. The player who pins the house closest to the correct address of the new home wins the game.
  
  

Musical Houses

• Draw several pictures or houses on construction paper and write a number on each house. Place the houses in a circle on the floor. Write the same numbers on small slips of paper and put them in a small bowl. Play music and have the guests walk around the circle. When the music stops, each guest must stand on a house. Draw a number out of the bowl and the guest standing on that number wins a prize.
  
  

Housewarming Bingo

• Make several bingo cards using household items, such as a blender, toaster, dishrags, glasses, pillows, sheets and knifes. Think of items the new homeowner might receive as gifts. Write the same household item names down on small slips of paper and place them in a bowl. Give each player a bingo card and bingo markers. For added fun, print several miniature houses to use as bingo markers. Draw names out of the bowl and have guests mark their cards. The first player to get a bingo horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins the game.
