8 Great Books About Love for Your Reading List
Looking for a good love story? Not a romance novel, but a deep, passionate and complicated story about love. These are some of my favorite novels from the past 10 years. They are not overly sweet, but they all have love stories at the center.

Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford takes place during World War II. A young Chinese boy and young Japanese girl become friends and eventually fall in love, but their relationship is tested when the girl and her family is sent to an internment camp. This is a sweet piece of historical fiction that shows the role of honor in love. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet was released in 2009.•'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society' by M.Shaffer and A. Barrows
