  Mud bogging is a type of off-road vehicular sport that involves driving some type of vehicle though a pit of mud. The vehicle that makes it through the mud bog is crowned the victor. If multiple vehicles make it through the mud pit, the vehicle with the best time is named winner. There are a number of mud bogging clubs and events that take place in the state of Michigan.
  
  

Berville Lions Club

• The Berville Lions Club is a non-profit organization that holds a number of functions to raise money for people with visual impairments. The Berville Lions Club occasionally holds events that include mudding or mud bogging competitions called Hill-in-the-Hole. The mud bogging events include separate competitions for Jeep and SUV class vehicles, as well as a number truck class vehicles. There is also a professional mud bogger class where anything goes.

Rizzo's Bog

• Rizzo's Bog is a mud bogging group that holds and sponsors a number of different mud bogging events throughout the year. For mud bogging events, there is a $10 entrance fee for anyone 14 and older. Children 13 and under can enter the event free, as of 2010. The Rizzo's Bog group also holds a number of mud bogging outings near Michigan towns of Port Huron, Mt. Morris Mounds, Yale, and Imlay City. The group is open to all individuals and has no membership fees or requirements other than a vehicle capable of traversing mud bogs.

Truckwarz

• Truckwarz is a series of events held by the Michigan Truck Fest, including mud bogging. The Truckwarz event is held in Mt. Clemens, Michigan at the Gibraltar Trade Center. Admission to the event is $5 and children under the age of 12 are allowed free admittance, as of 2010. Besides mud bogging, Truckwarz has other vehicle events such as a burn out contest, truck tug-o-war, and a truck show.

We Got Mud

• We Got Mud is a mud bogging club that holds a number of mud bogging events throughout the year. Members of the club hold events in Clio, Michigan. The club has built a number of different holes and other challenges for mud bogging vehicles. There is a spectator stand, a concession stand, and overnight parking for those camping. Admission is free to the We Got Mud events, however, the club asks for a $5 donation, as of 2010.
