How to Update Avira Premium
- 1). Double-click the umbrella-shaped AntiVir Premium icon in the system tray. The main AntiVir window appears.
- 2). Click the "Update" pull-down menu at the top of the window, and then click "Start Update." The AntiVir Updater window appears, and the program scans the Internet for available updates.
- 3). Select the "Continue Update" radio button and click "OK" if a window appears explaining that a compulsory system reboot is required after the update. The program begins downloading and installing all available updates for AntiVir Premium.
- 4). Click "OK" to restart the computer when prompted. When the computer restarts, the new virus definitions will be active.
