The Above Average YouTube channel is a digital comedy network that features "some of the best short form comedy series and videos on the web." The network is a member of the Broadway Video group, the company which produces Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Late Night, Portlandia, and 30 Rock. They offer new videos every couple of days.
What sets this channel apart from the countless other funny YouTube humor channels is their star-studded cast of characters. A typical video features both past and current members of Saturday Night Live, including the always funny Andy Samberg and Amy Poehler, plus newer SNL cast members like Jay Pharoah and Kate McKinnon.
