How to Decorate the Backyard for a Circus Party
- 1). Set the stage with a circus tent or canopy. Suggest a big top by slanting streamers from a central post downward, attaching them to chairs or planters. If you prefer the feeling of a tent, string clothesline from trees or posts and hang lightweight sheets or gauzy fabric over them, allowing the fabric to cascade downward at the sides. Hang streamers over the fabric to make the tent appear striped.

For a large-scale party, rent attractions such as a popcorn cart and machine, a snow cone maker, a cotton candy machine, a helium tank, a bubble blower or inflatable castles for bouncing. For a healthy alternative, stack fresh fruits on wooden sticks or freeze juice to make popsicles.
