Make the Shaved Ice

Pour about 1-2 cups of crushed ice into a blender. Add about 1 1/2 cups of water. Blend the ice together.

Blend the ice until it is completely crushed. Do not blend until it is liquid. The ice will somewhat look like shaved ice. Most of it will be smooth. If there is too much liquid, add more ice, and blend.

Scoop out some of the ice with an ice cream scooper or spoon into a small glass jar or bowl.

Add premade snowcone flavoring to the top or add your own snowcone flavoring. Serve chilled.

Recipe for Homemade Snowcone Syrup

Pour the sugar and the water into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Take the saucepan from the heat, and then stir in the Kool-Aid.

Let the sugar mixture cool. Place it in the refrigerator until it has become chilled. Pour your favorite flavors over the crushed ice for a yummy cold treat!
