How to Clean Tree Sap From Carpet
- 1). Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat, then dip a clean cloth in the hot water.

- 3). Scrape away any tree sap you can using a dull kitchen knife.
- 4). Press a dry, clean cloth repeatedly onto remaining tree sap on your carpet.
- 5). Add several drops of dry-cleaning solvent to a clean cloth.
- 6). Press the cloth repeatedly onto remaining tree sap on your carpet.
- 7). Dampen a clean cloth with water. Press the cloth repeatedly onto the dry-cleaning solvent to rinse away.
- 8). Press a dry, clean cloth repeatedly onto your carpet to remove excess moisture. Allow to air-dry.
