Carroll University Endowment

• Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, received $1 million dollars in Mead Witter funds to establish a scholarship endowment in 2008. The Carroll University Mead Witter scholarship fund is appropriated for students who are Wisconsin residents, particularly those from Wisconsin Rapids. Recipients are academically strong and able to show a financial need. Carroll also received Mead Witter contributions in 1999 to add a reading room to the Todd Wehr Memorial Library on the university campus.
  
  

Lawrence University Endowment

• Mead Witter funds were given to Lawrence University in the form of annual grants for student scholarships, until the foundation established an endowment in 2007. The endowment provides Lawrence College with scholarship money for students graduating from high schools in Wisconsin Rapids and northern Wisconsin. Lawrence University is both a liberal arts college and a conservatory of music for undergraduate studies, located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Residing on campus is mandatory for full-time students.
  
  

Northland College Endowment

• The Mead Witter Endowed Scholarship Fund is another Mead Witter scholarship for students attending Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. Northland students have received support from Mead Witter since 2002. The fund is designated for students from Wisconsin Rapids or rural regions of the northern part of the state. Ten scholarships of $5,000 are available to students with a financial need who maintain a 3.0 grade point average in the course of full-time undergraduate study.
  
  

Ripon College Endowment

• Ripon College is an educational institution that has received gifts from the Mead Witter Foundation since 1952. Mead Witter contributions have been made into an endowment in order to ensure future funds for more scholars in the coming years. Ripon is a liberal arts college that strives toward graduates who are "socially responsible citizens." Ripon is a private residential college in Ripon, Wisconsin, between Madison and Milwaukee. Nine in 10 Ripon students live on campus.
