The Federal Government has created a new stimulus package worth almost $900 billion dollars in hopes of getting the country on its feet again.
Obama's defense to allowing such a large amount for his plan comes to the fact that the country will be losing a whole lot more if something is not done and soon.
There are many items included in this two year plan.
The first and perhaps most exciting part are the three million jobs that will be created, mostly in the health, education, and energy sectors.
In America's focus on bettering these systems, including vying for a cleaner environment, the decision was made to include this as part of the job creation plan.
There will also be funds towards jobs in infrastructure.
Funding will be supplied to individual states because of falling revenues.
The states have had to cut jobs and wages, so to prevent further loss the Federal Government will jump in and add some monies.
There will be tax cuts for business and middle-class workers.
Most workers will receive a $500 payroll credit, and there is also a $1000 extra tax return in the making.
This will be a bit of a help to those individuals and their families.
Education grants are included in this stimulus package as Obama hopes to encourage more people to either go or return to school.
There is even a scholarship made specifically for mothers which takes up $40 million dollars.
These four components alone make a good-looking stimulus package.
During the next two years if all works out well, we should all see a big difference in the American economy.
