Man of Steel - Serious Core Strength Training For Men
If you are wanting to be the "Man of Steel" then you have got to have a smart core strengthening routine.
As humans we are designed to function with all of our power and strength originating from the center of our body's outward.
This is why serious core strengthening exercises involve lifts and movements that involve multiple joints which in turn include more than one muscle group! Read on if I have your attention.
Core Strength Training For Men Guys, if you are going to pack on a significant amount of lean muscle mass, get strong, and increase your performance then you absolutely MUST engage in lifts and exercises that train movement patterns! Forget about having an "arm day," or a "leg day.
" You have got to get used to handling your own body weight, lifts, and movements through exercises that require the use of multiple joints with the purpose of training you through natural planes of motion.
For instance, if you are looking to truly strengthen your core and your legs then forget about the leg extension machine.
In my professional opinion it doesn't even make sense to use this device for any reason whatsoever.
If you are looking to strengthen your core and your leg muscles you have got to engage in exercises such as squats, power cleans, or kettlebell swings instead of the stupid leg extension.
First of all, the leg extension doesn't mimic any relative function of day to day task that you engage in whether you are a couch potato or world class athlete.
There is very little or no "core stimulation" with the extension either because you are only engaging the knee joint.
This isn't great for the knees either.
You are way better off executing one of the other 3 lifts that I mention if you are going to stimulate your core and legs.
Not only do you hit these 2 major muscle groups, but you also initiate the use of hundreds of other stabilizer muscles as well.
The key to amazing core workouts is efficiency! The best core body workouts include lifts that are multi-joint in nature and stimulate the use of many muscles to propel your body through it's natural motions.
Core strengthening exercises for men and women have to be engaging and intense in nature to be effective.
If you haven't already started to include this dynamic into the development of your core muscles then you are missing out.
Remember that most anyone can train hard, but only the best train smart!
