How to Make a Pompom Spider Craft
- 1). Place plastic wrap or old newspapers over your work surface to protect it from the hot glue.
- 2). Plug in your hot glue gun to get it warmed up.
- 3). Place a dot of glue from the hot glue gun onto the large black craft pompom, and attach the small black craft pompom to it. This will be the head and body of the pompom spider.
- 4). Cut the four pipe cleaners into equal halves. These will be used as the legs of your spider.
- 5). Dab eight dots of glue onto the body of your pompom spider. You will need to place four dots of glue on each side of the spider's body near the bottom of the pompom. Press the glue gun deep into the pompom's base, and then insert the pipe cleaner leg into the individual dot of glue. Hold the pipe cleaner legs in place until the glue has dried enough for them to stay put without support.
- 6). Place two dots of hot glue next to each other onto the pompom spider's face, and press one wiggly craft eye into each dot of glue.
- 7). Tie a long piece of string around the body or neck of your pompom spider to hang it up.
