Programming a 2001 Through 2006 Sebring Key Fob

• 1). Verify that you have one programmed key fob. Without a programmed key fob you will be unable to program an extra.
  
  
• 2). Push "Lock" on the programmed key fob five times, allowing approximately two seconds to pass between each push.
  
  
• 3). Put the car key in the ignition. Turn the key to "Run" without cranking the Sebring's engine. Wait patiently for the beeping to stop which takes about a minute.
  
  
• 4). Push "Unlock" on the programmed key fob. Hold the button down for five seconds. After five seconds, push and hold "Panic" while still holding "Unlock." After one second, release both buttons. Listen for the beep for confirmation. If you do not hear the beep, then start over.
  
  
• 5). Push and release "Lock" and "Unlock" on the programmed key fob at the same time. Then push and release "Unlock."
  
  
• 6). Push and release "Unlock" and "Lock" on the new key fob. Then push and release "Unlock." Remove the key. The key fob is now programmed.
  
  

Programming a 2007 Through 2010 Sebring Key Fob

• 1). Verify that you have two working key and fob units. Without two working keys, you will not be able to program an extra key and fob unit.
  
  
• 2). Have your blank key and fob unit cut by a Chrysler dealership or professional locksmith to match your Sebring.
  
  
• 3). Place one of your working key and fob units into the ignition. Turn the key to "On." Leave the key in said position for between five and 10 seconds. Turn it to "Lock" then remove it.
  
  
• 4). Place your other working key and fob unit into the ignition. Turn the key to "On." Leave the key in said position for at least 10 seconds. You will hear a beep. Turn it to "Lock" then remove it.
  
  
• 5). Place the key and fob unit that you are programming into the ignition. Turn it to "On." Wait about 10 seconds. You will hear a beep. The key and fob unit are now programmed.
