    • 1). Disconnect all cords and accessories from your device.

    • 2). Turn your iPhone off.

    • 3). Wet the corner of a microfiber cloth, preferably with distilled water as it contains less impurities.

    • 4). Ring out the cloth to get rid of excess water. You don't want any drops of water to fall on the face of your iPhone.

    • 5). Blow hard on the screen of your iPhone, or use a can of compressed air. This will prevent larger pieces of debris from being dragged across your iPhone's screen during cleaning, which may cause scratches.

    • 6). Wipe the face of your iPhone with the damp corner of the microfiber cloth. Sweep the screen with soft, even strokes. Don't wipe the ports on the top or bottom of the iPhone.

    • 7). Dry your iPhone with the dry portion of the microfiber cloth with soft, even strokes. Turn your iPhone on when it is completely dry.
